The first-of-its-kind, MYSL Cup two-year youth competition was concluded June 8. A competition that began in the Fall 2014 season with over 80 boys’ and girls’ U11 teams, saw the 20 teams that amassed the highest cup points over the prior three seasons compete this spring in the MYSL Cup Final season. Following the conclusion of the regular season, the MYSL Cup Playoffs took place with an exciting three days of matches June 6 – 8.

The Girls Final went into overtime with the MI Hawks East 04 scoring the only goal of the contest against a strong and determined Renegades 04 Girls Green.

The Boys Final was also a closely played match-up between the eventual winner Magic Waterford 04 who edged out a 1-0 victory over a tough opponent, the FC Union U12 Boys Black.
