Again, it has been a supper Banquet.
The Banquet started, like always, with a wonderful and
enjoyable dinner. The selections were outstanding. This was
followed with the 2024 President’s Award, presented by our
President Dave Harris. A “Traditional Brass Mantel Clock”.
The Award is given each year for outstanding efforts and dedication
to Youth Soccer.
The recipients were: Teresa Steinwascher with the Nationals FC,
Deanna Gorde with Michigan Burn, Donna Pounds with MYSL.
Raffle tickets sales were once again extremely well in demand, due
to the variety of valuable prizes – Apple Watch, Diamond Bracelets,
Gift Cards, Tools, . . . !! Twelve coaches received a $ 150.00 Dollar
Gift Certificate.
Thanks so much for the generous monetary donations ($ 1,800.00)
which will be matched by MYSL again. It is touching, that so many
open their hearts for a GOOD CAUSE. We hope that our contribution
to a FOOD Distribution Center will help the PEOPLE IN NEED.
With music and flair everyone was invited for ” CASINOS WILD “
gaming party !! Everyone started with $ 300.00 Dollars (not real money)
to “HAVE FUN” !!
Thanks to our hard working staff, the Banquet has been again a
memorable event.
