MYSL has made improvements to our score submission system.  Beginning with the Spring 2012 season, an email verification step was added in order to protect against incorrect and/or prank score submissions.

The Process

  1. The MYSL game is concluded.
  2. Final score submitted by the winning team.
  3. Coach(es)/Manager(s) of winning team receive score approval email with approval link.  In the event of a tie, the home team receives the email.
  4. The approval link is clicked on by any of the email recipients as verification of the correct final score.
  5. Score is then sent to MYSL to apply to game and league standings.
  6. MYSL applies score to game and league official standings.

What if the Submitted Score is Incorrect?

If an incorrect score is submitted, the email recipients can click the "Deny" link in their email, and that submitted score will be denied.  The correct score can then be submitted via a new score submission form.  The email recipients can then "Approve" the new submission.

What if I Accidentally Deny the Correct Score?

If the correct score is accidentally denied, please send an email to myslstat@comcast.net.  You must include the game number (can be found on the Schedules and Standings page) and what the correct score should be, naming each team and its final score.

An Incorrect Score was Submitted, Approved, and Applied to the League Standings.

If an incorrect score for one of your games is posted on the Schedules and Standings, please go through the "Submit Score" link for that game, and submit the new score.  It will then follow the same process as a freshly submitted score.

The Team Representatives did not Receive the Email.

When we set up this new system, we pulled all registered email addresses out of the MYSL Bonzi registration system.  If a team did not have any registered email addresses, or had incorrect email addresses registered, then they will not receive the score approval email. If you would like to correct or add an email address for your team, please have a coach or manager contact yvonnemysl@sbcglobal.net.  Please include the Division and Team names and age group in your request. If you do not wish to provide MYSL with a valid email address for score approval, you can send the scores to myslstat@comcast.net.  Please include the Game Number, the home team score and the away team score.  Please note that MYSL will charge $10 per submission for all scores submitted this way.

When I Click the "Approve" Link, I Receive a Message that the Score was Already Previously Approved.

No further action is required at this point.  Another recipient from your team has already approved this score.

When I Click the "Approve" Link, I Receive a Message that the Score Has Been Previously Denied.

Another recipient from your team has already denied this score.  If this is an error, and the score should be approved, please contact myslstat@comcast.net.  Please include the game number (can be found on the Schedules and Standings page), and what the correct score should be, naming each team and the final score.

When I Click the "Deny" Link, I Receive a Message that the Score was Already Previously Approved.

Another recipient from your team has already approved this score which you are attempting to deny.  If an incorrect score has, in fact, been approved and posted for this game, you can go through the score submission form again.  Submit the updated score, approve it via the new approval email, then MYSL can apply it to the game and league standings.

When I Click the "Deny" Link, I Receive a Message that the Score was Already Previously Denied.

No further action is required at this point.  Another representative from your team has already denied this score.
