Vardar East Girls Director of Coaching Miriam Hickey attended a 4 day long seminar in Zurich Switzerland organized by FIFA to bring the Women’s Football Instructors together to discuss how to further develop soccer for girls and women around the world.
These FIFA instructors run courses for coaches who work with girls and women, discuss the state of soccer in the countries they visit and assist the nation’s Football Association with setting up leagues and activities for girls and women to promote and develop soccer in their country.
Being invited to attend this seminar was a great honor and I was proud to have spent a week with extraordinary colleagues from all corners of the world.
I look forward to what the future brings and to the opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport with others.
